Establish whether the drum turns at all
A machine that hums without turning has usually broken a belt. One that turns and squeals is rollers or the idler pulley, and it is being told months in advance.

Replace what wears together
Belt, rollers and idler are one system and they wear as one. Changing a belt and leaving tired rollers means doing the job twice, which is worse value for you and worse work by us.

Check the front glides and the rear bearing
The other two places a drum rubs. Left alone they mark the drum and eventually the clothes.
