## KitchenAid repair in Miami, job by job.

Every repair below is work we actually do, with a starting figure against it and what moves that figure. If you already know what the appliance needs, start here. If you do not, the diagnostic visit is the first page on the list and it comes off the bill when you go ahead.

32 — repairs with a starting figure

12 — appliance types we repair

from $95 — diagnostic, credited to the repair

OEM — parts available on order

## What we repair, and what it starts at

Each page says what the work involves, what makes it cost more or less, and what we check before proposing it. Nothing is opened until the scope and the figure are in writing and you have agreed to them.

## A good share of these calls end without a part at all.

It is worth saying on the page that lists the repairs, because it is the least commercial sentence here and it is true. A dishwasher that will not drain is a tub filter, an air gap, a disposal plug or a drain hose loop far more often than it is a pump — and **three of those four are outside the machine.** A refrigerator with a warm fresh-food side and a cold freezer is nearly always airflow rather than refrigerant. A dryer that needs three cycles is the duct, which is not the appliance.

So the visit starts with those, not with a parts order. If it turns out to be one of them, you pay for the visit and we tell you how to stop it happening again. That answer is worth the same to us either way.

## Or start from the machine instead

If you would rather begin with the appliance than with the job, each of the twelve has a page covering what it reports, what tends to go wrong and what the repair usually involves.

## 32 jobs is not the limit of what we will look at.

The pages above are the repairs we are asked for most often and the ones we can put a starting figure against. They are not everything. Appliances go wrong in more ways than any list holds, and plenty of visits turn out to be something that has no name until the panel comes off.

If yours is doing something that is not described here, that is still a call worth making. Tell us the model number and what you are seeing, and we will tell you whether it is our work, what it usually points at, and roughly what it costs. If it is not our work, we will say so — and that answer is free either way. **Call [(305) 306-1328](tel:+13053061328)**, or use the form and describe it in your own words.

## Questions about the work itself

Do I pay for the diagnostic if I decide not to go ahead? — Yes — the diagnostic is $95 and that is all you pay. If you do go ahead, it comes off the bill. Nobody is charged twice for the same visit, and nothing is opened until you have the scope and the figure in writing and have agreed to them.

Do you carry parts on the van, or is it always two visits? — We carry the parts your description points at, which is why the two sentences you write when you book matter more than they sound. A model number and a line about the behavior — a code, a count of the Clean light, a noise, a smell — decide what is loaded. Common items for that symptom travel with us. A part that turns out to be cosmetic, or specific to one model year, is ordered.

Is the work guaranteed? — We guarantee the work we performed and the parts we fitted. That guarantee covers what we did — not an unrelated condition that appears later on the same appliance, and not a part somebody else supplied and asked us to install.

Will you tell me if the repair is not worth doing? — Yes, and you get told instead of quoted. Where a repair approaches the value of the appliance — a sealed system on an older refrigerator, a control board on a machine already carrying two other conditions — the honest answer is what that money buys you against what a replacement costs. It is a conversation we would rather have on the first visit than on the second.

How soon can somebody come out? — We book the earliest slot we can genuinely keep rather than the earliest one that sounds good. Tell us how urgent it is — a refrigerator with food in it and a wall oven with a locked door are not the same wait. Call [(305) 306-1328](tel:+13053061328) and you will hear a real time.

## What decides the price of a KitchenAid repair

### Four things, in the order they matter

- **The part.** A thermal fuse and a control board are two orders of magnitude apart, and both can present as an appliance that does nothing.
- **The access.** A freestanding range rolls out. A wall oven comes out of a cabinet opening, a built-in refrigerator is trimmed into millwork, and a stacked laundry pair has to come apart before either half can be reached. That is planned time, and it is why we ask how yours is fitted when you book.
- **Whether the part is still made.** On the current line most things arrive quickly. On a machine the maker no longer builds — every KitchenAid washer and dryer — mechanical and electrical parts are commonly still available while cosmetic parts and consoles frequently are not. We tell you which side of that line your repair sits on before ordering anything.
- **Whether it is worth doing at all.** On a repair approaching the value of the appliance, we say so on the visit rather than after it.

### What we will not do

We do not publish a final price before seeing the appliance, because the same symptom has several ordinary causes that sit hundreds of dollars apart and only one of them is yours. Every figure on this site is a starting point for this equipment in South Florida; the exact cost is confirmed after an on-site diagnostic and written down before anything is opened.

### Independent, and what that means for you

We are an independent repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by any manufacturer, and we do not carry out repairs on any manufacturer’s behalf. What we do carry is our own warranty on the work we performed and the parts we fitted, and OEM parts are available on order. Brand names and model numbers on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

## Tell us the model and what it is doing.

You will have the scope and the price in writing before anything is opened.
